Pre-task activity for week 7

Dear students, have you ever experienced exam stress, does it bother you?

Now let’s take time to do a little survey to check on whether you have expereicned or have been experiencing exam stress. If you have any trouble understanding the text, refere to the online dictionary that I suggest you in the first class.

Stress Symptoms

  • Difficulty getting to sleep or difficulty waking up in the morning
  • Constant tiredness
  • Forgetfulness
  • Unexplained aches and pains
  • Poor appetite
  • Loss of interest in activities
  • Increased anxiety and irritability
  • Increased heart rate
  • Migraines/headaches
  • Blurred vision
  • Dizziness

If you’ve noticed three or more of the above symptoms and you’ve experienced them for a few weeks you may need to do something about your stress levels.

Don’t panic if you find yourself expereincing exam stress.

In the task stage, we will look for some useful tips and suggestions for you to deal with them.
